340B in Plain Words
-
What It Is
340B is a federal law from 1992. It says drug makers must sell some medicines to health centers at a lower price. Spectrum is one of these health centers.
-
Why It Matters
When Spectrum pays less for medicine, we save money. We use those savings to give care and services to our patients. This includes people who can’t pay.
-
We Follow the Rules
Spectrum is signed up with the government’s Office of Pharmacy Affairs. We follow all the 340B rules. 340B medicines only go to patients who qualify.
