Spectrum Health Services provides patients with HIV and STDs care and treatment, including screening and testings

There are 20 million Americans who will contract a new STD every year. Approximately 65 million Americans already have an STD. It only takes one unsafe sexual encounter to get at STD. As of 2018, there are nearly 500,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in America. Of these occurrences, blacks/African Americans and individuals living in urban areas make up the largest percentage. Nearly 20% are living with HIV and do not know.
The best way to prevent HIV or any STD is to adhere to the following the ABCs: abstain, be faithful to one partner and use a condom with every sexual partner.

We offer the following services for HIV/Aids diagnosis, treatment and prevention:

  • Annual screenings
  • Information and education on the transmission, signs/symptoms, and treatment/cure of various STDs
  • Linkage to primary care services for HIV/STD treatment if you have tested positive
  • Behavioral health support to help manage your mood as well as other onsite resources available
